| Jeff ParmetJeff Parmet is a computer expert specializing in system failure and software intellectual property, computer forensics and the Internet. Jeff Parmet and Associates LLC was formed to provide consulting and expert witness services to lawyers engaged in litigation and other disputes involving computer systems, software and electronic evidence. The hallmark of Jeff's practice is independent and objective technical consulting services leading to advice and/or expert witness testimony involving information technology.
With 35 years experience in the information technology field, twenty-one of which were with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Jeff led until his retirement from the firm on June 30, 2003, PwC's information technology dispute practice. An experienced consulting and testifying expert specializing in liability issues arising in computer failure and software intellectual property cases, Jeff Parmet and Associates LLC provides a full range of technical consulting services required by counsel in resolving such software failure and IP disputes.
Jeff represents both plaintiffs and defendants; developers and customers. He has been engaged as an expert in litigation in federal and state court, as well as in arbitrations and mediations. He has served as a court-appointed neutral expert. He has presented in numerous IT programs for lawyers.
In association with other independent experts at PwC and elsewhere, and subject to independence and conflict clearance, Jeff Parmet and Associates LLC provides a full range of dispute services required for a particular matter, such as economic and damage analysis, data analysis, liability analysis, electronic discovery, and computer forensics services.

| G. Hunter JonesHunter Jones has an engineering background and long experience in systems design and development. He is intimately familiar with the "internals" of computer systems, both operating systems and application programs. His system design and development experience has covered engineering and accounting applications, as well other functions for business and government clients.
As a certified computer forensics specialist (EnCase Certified Examiner), he has established credentials in the fields of computer examination and electronic discovery. This professional certification attests to the capabilities of the EnCE, and also adds to the credibility and reliability of his reports and testimony.
His Litigation Consulting and Computer Forensics work often falls into these areas:
- identifying and explaining the underlying causes of software failure
- interpreting the complex issues and clarifying the highly technical documents which are inevitably involved in the claims, defenses, briefs, and testimony in such cases
- assisting in drafting clear and effective language for the technical aspects of interrogatories,
document production requests, and responses
- organizing masses of data produced in litigation, providing efficient tools for its analysis, and leading
that analysis
- advising counsel in planning for Discovery in cases with complex technical issues, to help ensure thorough, efficient, and useful collection of needed information
- correlating as-built systems with what was promised or with industry norms, to determine and clearly document the nature and extent of any deficiencies or functional failures
- forensically capturing and analyzing data (and Email) from suspect computer systems, including hidden and deleted material, to investigate claims of infringement, collusion or other improper actions, and to establish timelines for significant events involved in litigation
- comparing original and potentially infringing software, even though disguised, to identify improper use of proprietary code or concepts

| J. Todd Trivett, MBA, PMPTodd Trivett is a litigation consulting expert specializing in project management, IT systems implementation, and forensic management & data
analytics. In examining mismanagement and systems failures in litigation, he draws upon his own 15 years experience managing large IT implementations for a “Big 4” consulting firm and a global systems integration company. During
his career, he has provided project management and consulting services to companies implementing large projects as well as to parties involved
in disputes and litigation involving project
management and computer systems. Most recently, he worked with former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul A. Volcker investigating mismanagement and corruption in the United Nations’ management of the Iraq Oil-For-Food programme.
Mr. Trivett is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP©) by the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is an active member
and has served on the Executive Advisory Board of PMI. | 
| Geoff M. MaitesGeoff Maites is a web developer, programmer and designer with more than eight years of experience providing information technology consulting services to clients in a variety of industries. Over the past five years with Jeff Parmet and Associates, Mr. Maites has provided analytical support in cases involving software project failure, software copyright infringement, and trade secret misappropriation. His major areas of expertise include: HTML; JavaScript; Flash ActionScript Programming; PHP; and graphics creation and optimization. Aditionally Mr. Maites has experience in basic programming logic and concepts, search engine optimization, relational database design, SQL and Perl. Prior to joining Jeff Parmet and Associates, Mr. Maites provided consulting in all aspects of web development and design. He is currently in the process of taking the required coursework, fieldwork and examinations to become an Encase Certified Examiner (EnCE). | 
| Paul LinebaughPaul Linebaugh has more than 10 years experience in the computer field; designing, developing, and supporting software, hardware, and networking solutions. He has worked as a programmer, system administrator, and manager. He has also worked in many different environments including non-profit, government, large company, and startup. Mr. Linebaugh has been through the full cycle of developing software products from gathering of data involved to designing the user interface to creating the installation program and software updates. He has also had a major part in developing web-based software, including programming, networking, hardware purchases, server/firewall setup, etc. He has been certified as a Lotus Professional Application Developer and has attended numerous technical courses and conferences including Java, Lotus Notes, and Encase. He is currently in the process of taking the required coursework, fieldwork and examinations to become an Encase Certified Examiner (EnCE). |
